My first blog post!

I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now, and finally I have made the time to do it!  There are two main things I want to accomplish with this blog. The first is I want to use this as a way to share my passion for fitness.  I have been a fitness trainer since 2005, and while I still have a lot to learn I am constantly striving to find more efficient ways for people to reach their fitness goals.  The second purpose is to keep a record of my training.  If I have to write down what I am doing for my own training I know I will be more consistent with sticking to my goals and programs.  From my experience you can actually make better progress on a mediocre program (not that I think my programs are mediocre) that you consistently follow than what you would make if you were hopping from program to program designed by the greatest trainers in the world. If there is any "magic secret" to achieving your goals its consistency.  The program I am following now is based on the e-book "Becoming Bullet Proof".  It has two structured workouts per week, and between two and four "play days" per week.  On the play days you are encouraged to be creative and have fun with your workouts.  I have been doing this program for 2 weeks now and I really enjoy it! I would recommend getting your self a copy of "Becoming Bullet Proof".

Here was today's workout:
-10 push ups
-farmers walk w/ 2 70lbs kettlebells (about 20yards)
-5 deck squat jumps
-farmers walk back to the starting point

Repeated this 10 times with no rest, lots of fun!
